Terrific Twos

TOTALLY TERRIFIC TWOS

Offered Tuesdays/Thursdays each week from 9-11:15 a.m., Totally Terrific Two’s is our newest program and is an extension of our three and four year-old curriculum.  This program provides even earlier learning opportunities for those children who have reached the age of 2-1/2 and who are toilet learned.

We strive to foster optimal growth in our students in the major areas of child development:  emotional, social, physical, cognitive, language and creativity. Each content area or activity in the schedule focuses on one or more of these areas.

Students who reach the age of 2-1/2 and who are toilet learned are eligible to participate in Totally Terrific Two’s.

9:00 - 9:15 Arrival - hellos! Free choice as friends arrive
9:15 - 9:30 Snack time
9:30 - 9:55 Circle time
9:55 - 10:15 Art
10:15 - 10:40 Small/large muscle development
10:40 - 11:05 Cognitive development
11:05 - 11:15 Wrap-up - good byes! / Dismissal

THURSDAYS
9:00 - 9:15 Arrival - hellos! Free choice as friends arrive
9:15 - 9:30 Snack time
9:30 - 9:55 Circle time
9:55 - 10:15 Math/science
10:15 - 10:40 Social studies/imaginative play
10:40 - 11:05 Pre-writing / Pre-reading
