PRE-KINDERGARTEN

The Pre-Kindergarten gives students a solid foundation in preparation for Kindergarten. Our progressive curriculum focuses on all areas of development in the young child.

Children who reach the age of 4 by September 30 are eligible to participate in Monday/Wednesday/Friday sessions either from 9-11:15 a.m. or Monday-Friday sessions from 12:30-2:45 p.m.

9:25 - 9:35 OR 12:55 - 1:05 Circle Time - Opening prayer, pledge, attendance, helpers, calendars, weather
9:35 - 9:55 OR 1:05 - 1:25 Themes - *religion, letters, numbers, counting, shapes, colors, patterning, special days, etc.
9:55 - 10:00 OR 1:25 - 1:30 Story Time
10:00 - 10:20 OR 1:30 - 1:50 Table Time - *coloring, cutting, writing, numbers, etc.
10:20 - 10:35 OR 1:50 - 2:05 Wash Hands and Snack
10:35 - 10:50 OR 2:05 - 2:20 Rug Time - *class games/activities, graphs, stories
10:50 - 11:05 OR 2:20 - 2:35 Outdoor Play/Art/Music and Singing
11:05 - 11:15 OR 2:35 - 2:45 Prepare for dismissal

 

 

 For your convenience, closings and delays will be announced via email and will be broadcast on local television and radio stations.
