A Message To Parents...
Dear Parents,
As a principal, and as a mother who has raised children, I know the concerns facing parents today. That’s why I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Our Lady of Bethlehem School and Childcare.
I was recently asked by a future parent, "Why should my child attend Our Lady of Bethlehem School?". My initial thought was, "Why wouldn’t your child attend?" The curriculum established by the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus of the Netherlands has proven results.
Because of our small class size, students are exposed to a safe, loving environment where they excel academically. Eighty percent of our students have consistently scored in the top 15 percent nationally on standardized tests.
When you visit our school grounds, you will experience the homelike atmosphere. There is a feeling of friendliness in the building. At Our Lady of Bethlehem, we greet the children everyday so that they know their presence and happiness truly matter to us.
While our curriculum encourages academic achievement and high moral values, fun and enjoyment are part of the students’ day-to-day experience. When children enjoy school, they become more excited about learning and success more easily follows.
Additionally, Our Lady of Bethlehem offers a first-rate childcare center that offers full- and part-time options to working parents. The school also has expanded to offer enrichment programs for interested families such as an introduction to Spanish.
Even though the school is of Catholic heritage, our students need not be Catholic to attend. Our students come from diverse family backgrounds, which create excellent social experiences in which all can contribute.
The staff at Our Lady of Bethlehem helps dictate a positive school spirit. Each staff member is highly dedicated, enthusiastic and committed to teaching. However, it is not just the staff that makes Our Lady of Bethlehem special. The school prides itself in its acclaimed parent organizations. Our Lady of Bethlehem is not just a school. It is a community.
As you make the very important decision of where to send your child for his/her early education, I invite you to learn more about Our Lady of Bethlehem. Please contact our office to learn more about our Open House and Open Registration.
Otherwise, please feel free to schedule a tour our school and childcare facility. To schedule a tour, please call the school at 451-6631 or the childcare at 459-8285.

I look forward to meeting you and your family.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Dono
Principal, Our Lady of Bethlehem
